Sponsorship for Maccabi Netanya Boxing Club

Maccabi Netanya Boxing Club (MNBC) is one of the leading boxing clubs in Israel. In yearly 1990s a large wave of aliyah (repatriation) from the former Soviet Union brought highly experience trainers and sportsmen. Among them was trainer Simon Steinbook that have over 20 years experience as a boxing trainer and authorized European boxing referee. In October 1991, just two month after aliyah, Simon begun training young boxers as a head coach of MNBC. Since then he prepared many champions of Israel and a Silver medalist of Europe championship. But may be the most important achievement of Simon's career is that dozens of young men have left streets and have been grown to self-confident, respecting others gentlemen.

The club is founded on a strong enthusiasm of different people that share passion to Olympic boxing. Thanks to the new and young managing director of MNBC, Vladimir Kansler, recently there is a big effort to develop the club. But despite remarkable achievements, MNBC is suffering from a lack of funding. Basic equipment is missing. There is no boxing ring. Boxers are exchanging gloves and headgears between each other. The head coach is traveling on his own account to international tournaments. Nevertheless, the situation can be changed by relatively small sponsorship.

We are working on popularization of Olympic boxing among young Israelis. We think that this exciting ancient sport of gentlemen will meet desires of our youth as soon as we will succeed in developing of appropriate infrastructure.

Assist us to develop boxing in Israel and Netanya!
